Welcome. Let's begin to get to know one another.

My approach

You are unique and so is your process. I won't tell you how to grieve and I am not here to fix you because I don't believe that you're broken. I am here to understand what this experience is like for you and to accompany you through it.

My training is trauma-informed and incorporates what science tells us about the mind-body connection when it comes to grieving and wellbeing. There are times when we know the story and understand ourselves. And still, our bodies may carry something that our mind hasn't resolved. While my grief support sessions help you explore your grief and feel seen and held through the grieving process, breathwork works with what the body has been carrying. You get to chose which you prefer or we can combine the two.

Ethics and integrity

I believe that ethics and integrity are the foundation of a safe and supportive practice for the people I work with. I follow ethical codes of conduct, and am listed by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance which sets global professional standards for breathwork. I am fully insured for my practice. I am in supervision and have my own therapy.

This work is non-clinical and does not involve psychotherapy or medical advice, and I am not a counsellor or psychotherapist. It does not replace medical or mental health care.

My story

I came to grief work and breathwork, like many people do, through my personal journey. In my twenties, I moved through a life changing healing journey following many years with depression, where breathwork was supportive in my healing. Then when I was 31, my beloved sister died. That loss split my life into before and after.

I had just returned to the UK from living in Mexico and Peru, two places that are still like second homes to me, and where I had studied with an indigenous teacher in the Amazon. Finding my way in the UK again, I became deeply aware of how little space there was for grief. It's easy to feel alone in a world that doesn't wait.

Gradually over time with support, and drawing on what my healing journey and time living with other cultures had taught me up until that point, I began to learn how to meet rather than push away my grief. It was messy, winding and painful, and that process made me who I am today. Now, my grief is part of me - integrated and with a peaceful place to rest - and when I think of my sister, I feel more love than pain.

To me, grief work is love work. As we grow our capacity to grieve, we find the courage to keep our hearts open to life and love. Like anyone, I'm not immune to grief or life's challenges, and there will always be grief so long as there is love. Grief is, after all, a mirror for how deeply we love, and love is the strongest force of all.

I built my practice in 2024 - I consider this my life's work and what I came here to do. My work responds to a gap between what mainstream support offers and what I see that people really need. I draw particularly on the teachings of world leading grief educators Dr. Alan Wolfelt and Francis Weller, and in breathwork I practice under Seven Directions®. I will always continue to study and learn.

I see grief too as my teacher: grief taught me how to connect deeply with myself, to cherish life, and to remember that we don't have to do it alone. The Guatemelan Tz'utujil language uses the same word for grief and praise, reminding us that widening our capacity for grief also widens our capacity for joy and life.
